Review of Lockport, New York

Pros & Cons
Star Rating - 8/10/2009
Lockport is close to Niagara Falls, a natural wonder. There are many colleges and universities within commuting distance. Housing is relatively inexpensive. Many cultural actities are available, such as the museums, philharmonic, and theater district in Buffalo. Yahoo will be building a new center in the Lockport industrial park this fall. I live on the outskirts of Lockport, in Cambria. Much of the area is rural but rapidly becoming built up.

However, jobs are scarce and taxes are high. The weather is cold most of the days of October thru April.
