Review of Louisville, Kentucky

Not just for Simple Minds
Star Rating - 5/11/2008
I must strongly disagree with the previous posting that Louisville is for simple minds. I grew up in Louisville and left in the mid 1990's because I did feel this way. After having lived and worked in several cities throughout the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia for the last 12 years, returning to Louisville has been a more than pleasant surprise. It is one of the most progressive small cities I've ever visited or lived in. Yes, the sports bar scene is disproportionately large, but there is also ample room for progressive living. Please give Louisville a chance if you're on the fence!
