I give it a strong B

Louisville is as about as good of a city for it's size as you can get. Housing isn't cheep to me, but it is cheep compared to most of the country. As a realtor posted, people do take pride and keep up their properties here and the city does a fairly good job as well. There may be some not so pretty areas of town, but the east end is great. Lots to do if you are a sports fan and like the arts. There is a new multi-million dollar Bio-Research park on the east end currently being built. We have factories that have been in some trouble due to the economy like Ford. We are the home of UPS air operations, Yum Brands, and Kroger has a big distribution facility here. Lots of businesses in several industrial parks around town. Unemployment is low compared to many parts of the country. Schools are good, although many like moving out to Oldham county for the schools. Louisville is a fairly clean city where most folks take pride in the appearance of their homes and come spring loads and loads of flowers and landscaping get underway being planted. We have moved from here on three different occasions due to circumstances on our part but have also moved back here three different times. Louisville must have something we like or we wouldn't keep moving back. Overall I give it a strong B.
