Common sense

As far as Culture, Louisville has it! Louisville has one of the oldest Victorian Neighborhoods in the United States, unfortunately ran by crackheads. Louisville`s downtown area is growing rapidly to accomodate the growing population, unfortunately, the cost of living is not balanced out with the wages this city offers. It seems like this city wants to grow, wants to expand its horizons, but puts itself in a catch-22 with the stubborn republican community (and we see where the republicans have landed us to date!). Louisville has so much room to stretch its legs, but it is almost like the city is too afraid to get up out of the recliner, stop being so comfortable, and start exercising health!
Onto the real topic. Louisville drivers are insane. I have driven through Atlanta and Chicago, and drove through the New York, New York Metro, and their drivers arent as insane as the drivers here! People in this city are like lemmings! Too busy on their cell phones, in too much of a hurry to stop at a red light! I mean, come one! Enough is enough! The Louisville Metro Police department will not even do anything about it! I live on a one way street, and people drive down my street the wrong way ALL THE TIME, and mind you I have 4 cops living on that same street, who act like it is no big deal! The public transportation system is awful! The TARC(transit authority of the river city) has to be the worst transit system of any city! They are very inconsistent, never on time, sometimes early, which is a big no-no!! But the higher-ups dont care! They are too comfortable with the juvenile approach! And the streets! Heaven forbid you own a nice car! If it doesnt get dinged up from a stupid driver hitting you, then you are sure to lose your suspension from the poorly maintained roadways! Everyone talks about Jerry Abramson being such a great Mayor!! Yeah right! Come to Louisville to visit, but be wise about where you go, and dont forget to stop by the highlands too!! Plenty of yuppy snobs there, and pointless shops, which are slowly closing. Louisville Schmooisville.
