The desert around town is probably the most beautiful you could find. The sky is so clear you can see the star most every night. We have mountains, deserts, and many environments in between.

If you haven't seen it recently (2024) that beautiful desert is being bulldozed away for thousands of cookie-cutter houses. I know people gotta live somewhere, but I wish builders could devise a way to leave some of the native flora in place.
