My neighborhood on Richmond is not the nicest place. For college students just moving out it's not too bad, but I would not recommend anyone with children of any age living here. I also would not recommend anyone wanting to rent in the Mattoon area rent from Doug Paulsen. Even the cops know him as the "slum Lord" he is only out to get your money and does not care one bit about you or your family.
