McLean VA is a wonderful place to live. It reminds me of a clean-cut suburbs of mid-western city where we used to live. Schools are excellent. Cost of goods in local stores are not bad, and rents are not much higher than other Washington DC metro locations. However, if you try to buy a house, be aware. Housing cost is over four times as much as it should be.
