Medford (Long Island in general) good place to liv

While the area is higher cost than other parts of the country, there are tons of restaurants, malls all within a short driving distance.
Very little public transportation however for getting around(that is more in the city)

Middle class town. Very nice climate. All 4 seasons. None of which are too extreme....
