Review of New York, New York

Best of Both Worlds
Star Rating - 10/3/2008
The Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill area gives you a great balance between a more laid back, less expensive outer-borough experience, and proximity to Manhattan. Great conveniences, such as the new Trader Joe's on Atlantic Avenue, the Ikea and Home Depot only a short way away in Red Hook, and restaurant row on Smith St. make it one of the easiest places to live in the city. Great train hubs make commuting to anywhere a breeze. Apartments are larger for the money than Manhattan, and throw in the skyline view from the Promenade, and it all adds up to a great place to live.
