The best of times, the worst of times

Living in New York is has been literally the best of times and the worst of times. Yes, the rent is CRAZY high, for a teeny tiny space. Yes, the weather can be really crappy, and everything costs double what I am used to. The best of times, however, include being a few subway stops away from the best of pretty much everything imaginable. Museums, libraries, clubs, Broadway, shopping - it's all available here. If only I could afford to stay!
