newark is a good place to live in my opinion if you mind your own business and not bother anyone you'll be okay i use to live on Talyor ave for 5 years i loved it there plus newark has a lot of things to go see you can go watch a baseball game go to njpac or go shopping Downtown where it is very similar to A new york shopping district except things are much cheaper If Newark is 2 "Ghetto" for you then move to one of the towns after Newatk for ex. Harrison, Kearny,North arlington these places are nice places to live also
