Nice town, we call it Lil Baltimore

Norfolk is a charming town with a splended waterfront, world class museums, restaurants and entertainment on a quaint harbor very similar to Baltimore. Norfolk has a splended variety of housing, beautiful victorian homes downtown, and brownstones. There are bungalows and colonial revivals uptown along Granby Street and Little Creek Road. All the major roads are tree lined and look like english villages. There's a bit of sprawl around Tidewater Drive and Military Highway but not a bad place to buy a new/used car or do some big box shopping. You hardly notice the Navy and the Military presence unless you travel on the half dozen or so bridges, where you can see Aircraft carriers and Freight Ships. Norfolk is surrounded by six other post-war suburbs that look alike but Norfolk is the only city with history and character.
