Review of North Charleston, South Carolina

Colony North
Star Rating - 6/11/2011
I have lived in Colony North for over a year now. My street is the only street where I have ever seen children playing together. The neighborhood is quiet due to the fact that many of the homeowners have children that are adults. The school district is within Charleston County. Elementary is Pepperhill, bad, Alice Birney (name has been changed to Northwoods Middle to deter people from associating the former name with the school's reputation), worse, and Stall High School, worser. I thank God that I did not purchase this home because the neighborhood is not kid friendly - no pool, playground, and many of the kids stay inside and play video games and watch tv - and the terrible school district.
