The last 24 years

I transitioned from the far South suburban Chicago to Oak Brook, Illinois with ease. I worked in either downtown Chicago or Suburban offices for the same company. Highway connections to 294, 94, and/or 355 easily facilitated all relocations. After retirement, I realized how much the area had to offer for a single senior citizen. The Pace bus system, Yorktown Mall, the Oak Brook Center, and Lombard's famous
Butterfield Street's "Restaurant Row" are just a few of the conveniences. Hospitals, clinics and major Health facilities are all nearby. I could not be happier that I decided to stay after I retired.
