Small town living

Osceola is a small town in Iowa located about 35 miles North(central)of the Missouri border. Its very convenient for shopping as it has a Walmart, and 2 grocery stores. It also has a number of gas stations(a couple open 24 hours), a few fast food restaurants, a couple sit down restaurants, a cirle race track, a few parks and a casino. Its a pretty neighborhood friendly place to live. Owning or renting a home in this town is significantly lower than living in a bigger city. The downfall to this town is there are not a lot of higher paying jobs available but the good news is, its only about a 40 min commute to Des Moines(Iowas capital). If you like the small town country life, with the conveniency of local shopping minutes away...its a decent place to live.
