Owen is moving forward

The city of Owen is making strides forward to improve its economy and business base. It is a small city, but just this decade alone a few businesses have moved in to call it home. And more will be coming. A deal has been made to appropriate land for a cutting edge agricultural education center to be built on the outskirts of the city. Also, there are lots dedicated to agri-businesses right across the highway with at least a couple of business owners showing strong interest to place their businesses there. I believe in that area there is land set aside for a permanent Farm Progress Days site (I believe the name's changed). This plan will definitely boost Owen's economy, presence, and status, along with Clark County as a whole.
