Jamestown, NY.........small town, big costs!

My town is a fairly small town. The economy is not the best. Most of the jobs available here are factory or minimum wage in restaurants or department stores. The city recently did a reassessment of all the properties in the city, which had not been done in a long time. Because of the enormous increase in the property taxes, there are now homes all over town for sale because people cannot afford the new taxes. As far as things to do here, there's not much of anything except for restaurants, churches, bars and banks. Funny there's so many banks when there are so many people here working for minimum wage or receiving welfare benefits! It used to be a nice place several years ago, but now the neighborhoods are infested with drugs. If someone is thinking of moving here, I would seriously advise them to reconsider.
