I've lived here for more than 4 years and can't wait to get out of the area. I've lived in many different cities across the U.S. (Dallas, Atlanta, Madison WI, VA, etc.) and find PA forgetable. People in the area are not personable or particularly friendly. There's very little cultural influence from the outside world. And its also not a pretty place in comparison to the other cities listed above. No good shopping to speak of either. Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area is just really behind in the times. Its a drag here.
