as far as recreational things: you probably want to travel 15min north to warner robins to go see a movie or go to a nice resturant. we have nice eateries too but if you ever want to escape you might want to travel a bit. We get the national fair every year so that always brings in a lot of interesting people and sometimes adds to the population. There's no shortage of fast food resturants and department stores but it is limited.
