Plainfield pedestrian and bike friendly

I've lived in Plainfield 3 years now and have lived in the Indianapolis metro area since 1998. Here are the major pluses I found with this town.
- Pedestrian and bike friendly: Plainfield is the most pedestrian and bike friendly town outside of Indy and Carmel. Unlike Avon, Fishers, Brownsburg and Greenwood the town has a vast network of sidewalks and bike paths connecting every part of town without getting run over by a car. Notice how US 40 has miles of sidewalk on both sides non stop connected to the trails, schools and shopping while US 36 does not. Safer for families (especially kids, walking to work etc)
- Closer to airport: The entrance to the Indy airport is literally at the door step of Plainfield. Outside of Indy much closer and convenient than Carmel, Fishers or any other town in the metro area. Better access for airline travelers and less traffic...save more time.
Shopping: One word Metropolis (currently Shops at Perry Crossing)...Fancy open out door mall with a central theme which is also connected by trail and sidewalks (Barnes & NOBLE, Panera Bread, movie theater, JC Penny, restraurants..etc)
I70 access: less congested with more lanes
