My Home Town

I am a 47y/o female who loves this little blip on our countrties vast map. We are a town of about 650, give or take a few. I grew up here, graduated from our now obsolete high school. I did move away for a few years but came back to my home town. I have raised a family here, been married to my high school seeetheart for almost 23yrs, and yes, he’s from Potomac too! I feel safe in our town. The worst thing I have heard of is what is in all towns across our country, drugs. I have never been a victim of a crime nor has anyone that I am close too. My brother, Aunt, cousins also live here. There are still a few of us die hards that love our little town too much to leave it. We have a couple of nice little parks, 3 churches, a Casey’s gas station, Jeff’s automotive, and a post office. That’s pretty much it, oh I forgot to mention the wonderful people we call our neighbors, friends and everyone pretty much knows everyone and we watch out for each other. I guess that’s about it. One more thing, we have one of the safest places to bring the little ones to trick-or-treat. Our town is small enough you can park and walk for quite a while, go get the car and start all over again. It’s been along time since I’ve done this, but people from all over our county come here to do so because of the safety factors! Ok, I’m done for now. Love My Home Town!!!
