Living in Queen Creek

I am thinking of moving to Queen Creek from Washington State, but I'm worried about the job market. How bad is it there and what fields are hiring? I currently am a Veterinary Asst but have worked in the the social service field most of my working career. I also have 2 dogs, a Pekingese and English Mastiff. How bad is the heat for these breeds that don't really do well in the heat anyway? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
