Don't listen to John and his warning. 1. D'Andrea is not a high end community for Reno, so it is not suprising that he complained of the criminal activity near. 2. Don't move to Reno if you wanted Gambling. 3. Crime is silly, read our newspaper www.rgj.com and then read the LAtimes or Oakland news. 4. I moved away from a large city due to the homeless, drive by shootings, car jackings ... i.e. Oakland CA whose horrid news we get in Reno. Nice neighborhoods in Reno? Check the Montreaux 89511 zip code...D'Andrea, give me a break, that's so not hip or where the money is at.
Reno has mountains, a big blue lake near called L. Tahoe, ample outdoor activities for the healthy outdoors Marmot, REI, Patagonia types...move here if you recognize those name brands and want to have a healthy life style and not pay taxes. Remember, no income tax means lack of free social services which means very little homeless hanging around for long - they get on the bus to CA tax state next door.
