I've lived here most of my life....Ick!
"The Dirtiest Little City in the World" that's what Reno is. It is getting worse everyday. We have a growing homeless population as shown in the "tent city" growth and all the panhandlers. Housing is horribly expensive and the average person cannot make a living here. Who would want to? They try to attract tourism with hoaxes like The Balloon Races, The Air Races, Hot August Nights and Street Vibrations. All the same thing, except one is with balloons, one with cars and then there's planes and bikes; but still there's all the same hoaxy crafters with their booths and kiosks. Nothing much going on at any of these events. Town is full of crack-heads, gambling addicts and alcoholics. The police don't fight crime, they're too busy pulling over the few hard-working professionals for minor traffic violations. That way they look busy without really doing their jobs. Yes, the police are as stupid as they are on the show "Reno 911." Why else would they make that show? If you like dirty little towns, crack-heads, addicts, scammers, and crooked, retarded police, then Reno is for you!
