Review of Rochester, New Hampshire

the next great place in the Seacoast region
Star Rating - 7/21/2008
After living here for almost twelve years, I become happier each year with my choice. Rochester has lots of space left for development. It provides good community events that are free to all residents. Wait until you see the high school. It's a large classic school building with a big expanse of lawn in front. The music program in the school system is outstanding. I am sure the community support, especially the parents, is the main reason for the success of this program. They turn out en masse for band events with positive and orchestrated cheering. The Cocheco River runs through the center of town and is now receiving community attention--developing a river walk, focusing on appreciating it. Right downtown, housed in the City Building, is a historic opera house.
