Savannah as a whole, has many great things to offer but the HIstoric District is the heart. The food is absolutely fantastic. You have an array of places to choose from. Whether you want some "good ol' southern cookin'" from Paula Deen's restaurant "The Lady and Sons", or maybe you would prefer a taste of Italy at "Il Pasticchio", Savannah has it all. Not only does Savannah offer great food, it also host one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations which has been unofficially ranked second to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. People from all over come to Savannah to experience true southern hospitality. So,if that is what your looking for, Savannah is defintely the place to be!
