What about earthquakes

I was looking to retire in Sequim, but I was wondering about earthquakes in the area currently and what they see in the future

This is one subject I know a lot about. I was born and raised in California and now live in Colorado because I wanted to finally get away from the quakes in California. We don't have them here in Colorado. There is great potential for earthquakes in Washington as well as volcano activity. A faultline runs right through Port Angeles and Sequim and the have predicted a major earthquake there basically from now or up to 50 years from now. People are moving from there because of the potential of a great quake. The Straight of Juan De Fuce fault is clashing against the North Pacific Quake which is the cause for a potential 9.0 quake. Sorry for the bad news. Usually beautiful places geographically are the result of past catastropic quakes.
