Review of Sheridan, Montana

Great place to raise a family
Star Rating - 3/8/2013
Sheridan has a real charm, based at the foot of the Ruby Mountains, the views are breathtaking. The charm of the community is the small town mentality. Everyone knows each other, looks out for one another and waves. It's a quiet area, no traffic or crime. Great place to raise your children if you want the country way of life with limited cell service and minimum commute of 38 miles to access most things. Has a grocery store, summer swimming pool, gas station and a few restaurants. Very limited work with low-end pay. Winters are very long, can be dreary and very cold. Summers are ideal, with beautiful clear blue skies. Growing season is very short.
