Cost of living is not high, but salaries are modest for what few jobs there are. Unless you have a connection to a business or industry here, this may not be the best place to try to set up a family; in that respect, it is somewhat economically hostile. Never is a long time, I don't agree with the acceptance opinion. I'm new here, and I don't find people unfriendly at all. I came prepared to retire. Climate is wonderful, air is very clean, humidity is very low.
