Moved here from near Eau Claire WI. By contrast there are very few Asian beetles,fewer wood ticks (I haven't seen any yet), and fewer mosquitoes (climate is dryer and the wind knocks them down). There is a nice blacktop bike trail running along the Big Sioux river for 20+ miles thru Sioux Falls.
There is no state income tax and real estate tax is about 33.3% less. And people here are just as friendly and caring as people anywhere.
