Snow Hill, MD is located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, less than 10 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. We therefor have a mild oceanic climate, with cool winters, warm summers, high humidity in the hot season, not much in the way of snow or ice, and a reasonable amount of rain, mostly in winter & spring.
We have a long growing season, and very fertile soil...great gardens abound in our town. Overall a pleasant place to live!!!
