Moving to Somerset

I am moving to Somerset. I have heard that Cost of living to too high in somerset. I am getting a pay Of $72,800.00 per year. Can I survive with this pay. I am moving with my spouse and mi kid who is 2 years old. What amount of tax will deducted from my payroll. Are there any suburbans near Somerset where cost of living is lesser than Somerset.
