Living in Sparta

Sparta is a wonderful place to raise a family. Sparta has a lot of organized activities plus an abundance of year- round outdoor activites. It has a number of private and public lakes in Sparta or nearby the town for boating and swinning. Sparta is also very close to State Parks that offer opportunities for hiking, picnics, fishing and plenty of fall foliage opportunities. In the winter, you are 20 minutes away from excellent skiing and snowboarding.
Sparta is also a very safe town. It si quiet, suburban to rural with a number of major corporations within commuting distance.
The biggest detriment to Sparta, like most of new Jersey is it's high taxes.
