Very good housing market, many retiree from the northeast area have moved into our area.
Great schools, over 2 billion in scholarship money has been won by our students.
Much lower taxes on housing.
Variety of restaurants, and not fuel solely by college students.
New restaurants coming in monthly. Spartanburg is big on eating out.
5 colleges with a great selection of open to the public events, Converse is known in the music field.
Great hospital care is available. Gibbs Cancer Center, Smith Hawkins Sports Medicine Clinic to name a few.
Golf courses that are beautiful- Two Country CLubs
The figures on this information site don't give an accurate picture of life in Spartanburg. As a resident here I don't experience the crime level the numbers indicate.
