I’ve been living here in Tobyhanna for 2 years and cannot find a reason to stay or like it. Of course, I prefer the city or the suburbs where you can be closed to entertainment, cultural, religious,social and educational places.
You must like living in rural area surrounded by woods, deer and squirrels. You will not see that many people walking out in the sidewalks or street; if there is a sidewalk to walk on. Except for the Outlet in Tannersville, there is no high quality shopping retail store. There is a WalMart superstore open 24 hours, a Kmart, Lowe and several fast food restaurants. There is no social or cultural spot to enrich your social live. It’s quiet, serene and slow pace.
