Climate is great, for about 7 months of year

Tucson's climate is good for a large portion of the year. There are many out-door activities and nature activities available. It is a university town (University of AZ), and when I first came here buying a home was reasonably priced. That has changed. Prices have nearly doubled since 2001. My husband and I are looking for a place to spend that 5 months when Tucson is, shall we say, uncomfortably sizzling hot!
