Living in Tucson, frequently referred to as the 'ol' pueblo', offers a wide variety of experiences. Many artists and thus galleries are located here and twice a year artists open their studios for visitors to learn more about the artists. If outdoor recreation is your interest, residents and visitors have several golf courses, both public and private, to choose from. Runners, bladers and bicyclists can exercise on the Rillito Path, a 10 mile paved river path that cuts east to west along the dry Rillito riverbed. And, finally, if photography is your passion you will not want to miss a summer monsoon in the ol' pueblo known for their spectacular lightening displays! The weather is perfect October to May and then the dry heat kicks in starting in May!
