Tucson's winters

Being from Maine, almost anything is better then winter's notorious storms. For the most part we in Tucson have very mild winters. It does get chilly at night (end of December, 2007) and we have unusually cold nights down to freezing). Usually the nights in winter goes to the 40's and the days are in the 60's to 70's. Cold is the exception rather then the rule. We have about 10-15 days of cloudiness all winter.... our worse time of year for overcast skies. Snow extremely rare but there is a ski area on one of our beuatiful mountains only 25 miles away.
For the most part our winters are blue skies, mild short sleeve weather and watching everyone else freeze on TV.
Come on down and we will show you how to really enjoy winter.
