The current sales tax as of January 2009 is 8.1% -- this was not posted correctly on this web site and may cause you grief from those "know-it-alls" who get their information from sites like these. I'm dealing with one of those individuals who has decided to reimburse me using the wrong sales tax and I'm pretty unhappy about businesses that think this is the most accurate site available to them.
