We are ex-New Yorkers who have been here 8 yrs and now can't imagine living anywhere else. Entertainment? Tucson Symphony Orchestra is world class, the Arizona Opera company is very good, there are many local professional live theater venues. Google "UA Presents" to see its many, many varied offerings. There are many adult educational opporunities. Many fine museums and art galleries. In fact, there aren't enough hours to do and see all we want to. Oh, and Sabino Canyon and the other national parks offer wonderful hiking trials for all skill levels, even casual walkers. Sking is available 25 miles away if one is so motivated. And even the hot summer days are okay.... that's the time to see movies in air-conditioned comfort 'cause it cools off in the evenings. 300+ days of sunshinea year sure beats shoveling snow!
