Great Small Town Outside of DC

I grew up in Vienna, on a farm, and while the town has grown and changed quite a bit since those days, it still has a small town vibe and strong sense of community. Being just outside of Washington, DC and not far from the foothills of the Virginia countryside, there is plenty to see, do, explore, taste. A diverse population lends itself to a wide variety of delicious ethnic eateries in the area. They still hold parades down the main street through town, and plenty of festivals throughout the year. If shopping is your thing, Tysons Corner is a small city center unto itself with the best in upscale proprietors. Very convenient transportation options with multiple metro rail stations and metro bus.
