Prices have finally leveled off...

I've lived here 5 years and I love it. My wife and I got married here, had our reception at the oceanfront, had our first child here, and have enjoyed beach living since we got here. It certainly has much to offer and the crime rate being so low and schools being so good were a big attraction for us and still are. We were however starting to get worried as we saw the assessment and sale prices on our condo continue to rise, which is good for selling for a profit, but we were wondering if we were ever going to be able to afford to upgrade. I think that time has come! Prices have finally leveled off and our income is catching up. We are thinking right now is a perfect time to buy. It is definitely a buyers market and we hope we can take advantage while we the market is cooling off and there is less competitive bidding. It still is pretty expensive to live here but we think its worth it. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way?
