Paradise Pales in Comparison to the Seashore

I moved to VA Beach four years ago when I retired from thirty years in northern Illinois. People are friendly, the weather is wonderful, flowers bloom throughout the year; the ocean is nearby; church life is vibrant; housing is hard to find in a median price range; utilities are cheaper; schools aen't great; traffic is horrendous (mostly because of the out-of-state newbies driving here!) activities are always available and oh, yes, the ocean is nearby. There is just really no downside to living here -- especially in relation to winter in Illinos! After living in VAB for the rest of my life, heaven may be a step down in acomadations, with the plus of seeing Jesus face to face. Linda Underwood
