Winters are generally mild with temperatures averaging in the low 20 degrees and each snowfall about 2-10 inches. Spring and Winter strugle for power during the months of February and March and April finds the temperatures rising and the last frost of the year usually passing. Summer is fickle, weather flopping from the bearable 80+ degrees to the most unbearable 100+ degrees. However, the unbearable weather doesn't last very long and ends with a healthy rainstorm. Late August finds autumn in full swing and the beautiful colors of our local flora climax around the first week of October.
