Virginia is a beautiful place to live with the mountains and the oceans within a days drive from most any place you may live. However, it is also a fairly conservative state with an over abundance of churches. And unless you live in N VA or the Hampton Roads area, you are going to be pressed to find much to do. Richmond is fairly active too but the rest of the state is pretty dead when it comes to social activities.
