We have lived in Woodward for over 20 years. It's a small town (about 1200 people) and a suburb of Des Moines, which is about 30 miles away. It's a nice little place, dependent on farming and the Woodward Reosurce Center, a place for physically and mentally challenged individuals. Weather is typical Iowa - hot, humid summers and cold winters.
