Expectations LOW!

Yuma has the lowest expectations of probably any city in America. Nearly every public service (restaurants, grocery stores, malls, etc.) is staffed by illegal immigrants. The general attitude in Yuma is people do not want to work, so I am surprised that there are no jobs available. When you go into stores, the shelves look like the place was just robbed, yet the employers take no initiative to fire the employees and hire someone who is willing to actually work for 8 hours instead of just standing behind the cash register giving consumers a poor attitude. Everyone in this town is satified with the bare minimum. In fact, more often than not, the bare minimum seems like it's too much for people to handle. There are a lot of good things about this area, but all of that stands in the shadows of the many issues that hold Yuma back.
