Review of Zinc, Arkansas

opinion of Zinc from former resident
Star Rating - 3/25/2007
Typical small town living with everyone knowing everyone...but, this also means that typically knowing everyone also means knowing everyones business, and making up what is not known for sure.
I know anywhere from 25-35 people within the city limits of Zinc and can say from past experiences there, that I have only known 5-8 to actually hold down a job with the remaining living off state provided income, and can only think of two within my age (40) or younger to have any type of stable work history.
The town had no paved roads as of 2003 and no stores, schools or post office.
The local school for the children of Zinc was located in Bergman maine. This school consisted of an elementery and high school on the same property covering k-12th grade.
Overall educational experience at this school was positive with solid growth in the past years.
