Pretty crowded and expensive, but if you dont mind long commutes, and a lot of money for not a lot of house, then its not bad. There are lots of things to do, and DC is only a short trip on the Orange Line of the Metro away. School are excellent, and diverse. Overall, its really a great place to be, just minutes from everything you can immagine. And there is no relation to the western parts of Virginia, for all of you who think Virginia is for southerners. We are just as much a part of the north as New York!
