Memories of Bradford and vacinity --

This is not a city. It is a local kind of outback hamlet, near small lakes, and surrounded by hills. I used to live within 15 minutes, several years ago, and as it recall, there wasn't much beyond a few small businesses and perhaps a small restaurant. There are a few small towns like Bradford within a 6 mile range or so, all somewhat similar. Bath, Hammondsport, Savona and Sonora are all close. Waneta and Lomoka lakes are higher elevation lakes, small, and apt to dry up some in the Summer around the shores.
